About FS!QR

FS!QR is a browser-based temporary sharing service that lets you exchange files and data using QR codes — no app required. Share quickly and securely with just a few clicks.

Key Features

  • file-sharing: Uploading a file generates a download URL, a password, and a QR code readable by any smartphone. The recipient simply scans the QR code, opens the URL, and enters the password to retrieve the file.
  • Note Sharing: Creating a note room generates a QR code that grants access to the room. Share the QR code and multiple people can edit the same note in real time, with all changes saved automatically.
  • Group sharing: When you create a room, a QR code for the room URL is generated. Members can join simply by scanning it, then upload and download multiple files in the room.

Temporarily share with the intended recipients using a sharing URL, QR code, room ID, and password.

Security

Files shared via QR code are encrypted with AES-256 in your browser before being stored on the server. Group room files and note text are stored on the server without encryption. All features use HTTPS, and data is automatically deleted after the selected retention period.
