How to Use
Service Overview & Features
FS!QR lets you share files easily using just a browser. Files are temporarily stored using an ID and password, then shared via QR code or URL.
Intended Use
Ideal for situations where you need to quickly exchange files — such as university group projects, study sessions, sharing presentation materials, collaborating on assignments, or submitting coursework.
Safe Usage
When uploading files containing sensitive information, be careful not to let unauthorized parties learn your password. Also take care with the QR codes and URLs you share.
Usage Tutorial
Share Files via QR Code
/fs-qrSelect the files you want to share and upload them.- Once the upload is complete, you'll see the download URL, password, and a QR code for access.
- The recipient scans the QR code with a smartphone or other device and opens the displayed URL.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, enter the password, and the file download will begin.
Note Sharing
/noteEnter a 6-character alphanumeric room ID or auto-generate one to create a note room. A QR code for accessing the room will appear once it's created.- Participants scan the QR code or open the URL to enter the room and edit the note.
- Edits are reflected to all participants in real time and saved automatically.
Group sharing
/groupCreating a shared room generates a QR code for the room URL.- Members can scan the QR code to join the room and upload or download files.
- Files in a room are automatically deleted after a set period, making it well-suited for temporary exchanges.
Security & Encryption
Files shared via QR code are encrypted with AES-256 in your browser before being stored on the server. Group room files and note text are stored on the server without encryption. All communications use HTTPS, and each piece of data is automatically deleted after the selected retention period.
