Basic FS!QR usage

Service overview and features

FS!QR is a service that allows you to easily share files using just a browser. You can temporarily store files using your ID and password and share them using a QR code or URL.

Intended use

Please use it in situations where users want to quickly exchange files with each other, such as university collaborations and study sessions. It can be used in a variety of situations, such as sharing presentation materials, exchanging materials during group work, and submitting assignments in class.

Safe usage

When uploading files that contain information that you do not want made public, please be careful not to let third parties know your password. Also, please be careful when handling QR codes and URLs that you share.

Usage tutorial

Share files with QR codes

  1. /fs-qr, select and upload the files you want to share.
  2. After the upload is complete, the download URL, password, and QR code for access will be displayed.
  3. The recipient reads the QR code with a smartphone or other device and accesses the displayed URL.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your password to begin downloading the file.

Note Sharing

  1. /noteEnter any room name and create a note room. After creation, an access QR code will be displayed.
  2. Participants scan the QR code or open the URL to enter the room and edit their notes.
  3. Edits are visible to everyone in real time and saved automatically.

Group sharing

  1. /groupWhen you create a shared room, a QR code for the room URL will be displayed.
  2. Members can scan the QR code to join the room and upload or download files.
  3. Files in a room are automatically deleted after a certain period of time, making it suitable for temporary interactions.

Security and encryption

Uploaded files are stored encrypted on our servers and automatically deleted after a certain period of time. Communication is encrypted with HTTPS to ensure data security.

Usage notes

  • File size limit: Uploading large files may take some time
  • Storage period: Files are automatically deleted after a certain period of time
  • Password management: Keep your password secure and only share it with those who need it
